Syracuse, N.Y. — A house fire damaged a home early Thursday morning and displaced four people on Syracuse’s North Side, firefighters said.
Around 3:08 a.m., fire crews responded to the fire at 113 Peters St. and found smoke coming from the front door of a 2 1/2-story home, according to Capt. Erik Caster, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Fire Department.
Firefighters began stretching hoses inside while others entered the building to search for occupants and locate the source of the fire. The blaze was found in a first-floor bedroom, Caster said…
