Baton Rouge man charged with fourth DWI offense

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge man was charged with a DWI for the fourth time.

The Louisiana State Police was called to a possible impaired driver around 9:22 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10. The investigation led to Johmond Jolla, 46, of Baton Rouge, being charged with operating while intoxicated; fourth offense, possession schedule I, and suspended driver’s license.

A trooper contacted Jolla at U.S. 190 and N. Foster Drive and found that his breath smelled like alcohol. According to the affidavit, he “was swaying while standing and had red, watery eyes.” He did not do well on a field sobriety test, LSP said…
