Green Bay rezones vacant Georgia-Pacific mill

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Green Bay’s city council unanimously approved a plan to rezone a vacant Georgia-Pacific paper mill on the near-east side.

The plan keeps most of the site at 500 Day St. zoned industrial, but the side near the East River would become part of the downtown district.

The areas would be separated by a 150-foot light industrial buffer to protect the downtown district’s side from being exposed to pollution…
