The United States Postal Service (USPS) will celebrate the 150th anniversary of Colorado’s statehood with the release of a special Forever stamp on January 24, 2026.
What To Know
The stamp features a landscape photograph of Jagged Mountain by the late Colorado nature photographer John Fielder. The stamp is also designed to commemorate the Centennial State’s admission as the 38th state on August 1, 1876—exactly 100 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The Colorado Statehood Forever stamp will be issued on January 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. (MST) during a “first-day-of-issue” event at the History Colorado Center, according to the USPS press release.
