2 suspects arrested after Phoenix crash, shooting killed 2 motorcyclists

PHOENIX — Two people have been arrested for their alleged involvement in an incident that resulted in the deaths of two motorcyclists on Nov. 28 in Phoenix.

Phoenix police have announced the arrests of 37-year-old Nicholas Sheehan and 50-year-old Michael Shane Zavala for their alleged connection to a deadly incident near 7th Avenue and Interstate 17.

The incident involved two motorcyclists stopped at a traffic light. One of the motorcyclists shot the other, then a car struck the shooter, police said. The car’s driver was detained for questioning and then released pending further investigation…
