School counselor at Lakeridge High faces criminal, state investigations

A counselor who has worked at a Lake Oswego high school for nearly two decades is under investigation by local law enforcement and Oregon’s teacher licensing agency for undisclosed reasons.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that it recently opened an investigation into Christopher Keller, a school counselor at Lakeridge High School in the Lake Oswego School District. Brian McCall, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, said he could not release further information about the investigation because the case is ongoing.

Keller is also under investigation by the state’s Teacher Standards and Practices Commission, according to its director, Rachel Alpert. She declined to comment on the particulars of the investigation…
