Ohio sisters celebrate 65 years of Christmas card tradition

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Every family seems to have a special holiday tradition including two Ohio sisters whose own tradition is one for the books.

For 65 years, Becky Shilling and Wanda Hockenberry have been exchanging the same Christmas card year after year.

Becky currently lives in Orrville while Wanda resides in Wooster.

Becky told Fox 8 News she was 11 years-old when her sister got married. In 1960, Wanda sent the card to her family for the first time, unknowingly starting a tradition that would span decades.

After their parents passed away in 1971, Becky and Wanda decided to keep the tradition going…
