BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Thanks to the generosity of viewers and the community, KGET collected hundreds of toys for families in the Golden Empire, in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club and the Open Door Network.
“Thank you so much for taking the time out of their busy lives in the hustle and bustle of their time to just go out and support the community,” says Natalie Martinez of the Kern County Boys and Girls Club.
The Open Door Network and the Boys and Girls Club have hosted a toy drive for 20 years. Each year they allow kids and families to get a little bit of holiday cheer and grab a few toys for the holidays…
