BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man who was struck and killed by a semi-truck after checking his tires on Highway 166 Monday afternoon.
Coroner officials said Felipe Matamoros Lopez, 36, of Santa Maria was struck by a vehicle in the area of Highway 166 and Soda Lake Road around 4:19 p.m.
