CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — As more shoppers in the Chattanooga area turn to artificial intelligence to help with holiday buying, a UTC professor says if you shop online, you’re likely using AI tools without even realizing it.
“There’s a group of consumers who have absolutely are absorbed with AI. They have emerged themselves in it. They use it for most of their buying decisions,” UTC marketing professor Alycia Franklin said. “And they’re kind of at one end of the spectrum, and then on the other end of the spectrum, we have a consumer group that really will never, never emerge themselves in it.”
