A Tri-Rail train slammed into a car in Miami-Dade early Thursday morning, forcing officials to shut down a stretch of tracks for hours while the incident was under investigation.
Officials said that Tri-Rail train P608 reported hitting the car in the area of Ali Baba Avenue and NW 22nd Avenue just after 6:30 a.m.
