Pa. confirms 16 cases of measles in 2025, as officials monitor outbreaks in other states

Count Pennsylvania among dozens of states currently monitoring measles cases across the country amid a troubling outbreak of the highly contagious viral infection.

To date in 2025, Pennsylvania health officials have confirmed 16 cases of measles, including two cases in Cumberland County. No new cases have been confirmed since August.
