HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The city of Huntsville has taken another step toward bringing pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly’s $6 billion facility to the area.
The Huntsville Planning Commission approved the rezoning of over seven acres east of Greenbrier Road and north of I-565 during its meeting Tuesday night. “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the city of Huntsville,” said Lady Kassama, the city planner. “This is part of that new development that is coming in. The commercial industrial park will be more appropriate.”
