PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) – Prichard police are investigating a dog attack that injured two students and a teacher at Collins-Rhodes Elementary School Tuesday morning.
FOX10 News obtained an email sent to parents confirming that neighborhood dogs bit the victims as they arrived on campus Tuesday morning.
Minor Injuries, Victims Recovering
The school email reports that all three individuals received medical attention for minor injuries and are now recovering.
In the same email, school officials urged parents and pet owners to secure their animals and make sure pets do not follow children to school.
Dogs Quarantined, Owner Notified
A spokesperson for the City of Prichard confirmed that the dogs’ owner has been given official notice. The animals have been quarantined for 72 hours while the incident is under investigation…
