$50,000 Powerball winner sold at Myrtle Beach Food Lion

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — While no one hit the jackpot in Wednesday night’s billion-dollar Powerball drawing, a winning $50,000 ticket was sold at a Myrtle Beach grocery store, lottery officials said.

The DoublePlay ticket purchased at the Food Lion at 7631 N. Kings Highway was one of two $50,000 winners sold in South Carolina; the other one was at a convenience store in Columbia.
