DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — The Alabama Department of Human Resources will give EBT card holders new, chip-enabled cards.
According to DHR, these new cards will increase card security and add more protection against theft of EBT benefits.
The DHR is conducting a pilot program in these Alabama counties:
- Autauga
- Bullock
- Chambers
- Chilton
- Coosa
- Lee
- Lowndes
- Macon
- Russell
- Shelbu
- Tallapoosa
