Rainy and mild day

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — It will be cloudy all day with mild temperatures. Not much rain for the morning commute with just one or two passing showers. Temperatures are about 15 degrees warmer than yesterday morning, ranging from the low-40s along the borderbelt to mid-50s at the coast. Showers will pick up this afternoon with widespread rain continuing overnight. There could be one or two isolated storms as well.

A cold front will move through early Friday, with a few showers lingering into the early morning. Arctic pressure builds back in on Friday. The afternoon will be sunny and dry, with highs in the low 60s, and it will be breezy with winds gusting 30-40 mph. The colder air will rush in at night, as temperatures dip to the mid- and upper 30s. The highs on Saturday are expected to be in the mid- to upper 50s.

Temperatures jump back into the mid-60s on Sunday with dry weather expected all weekend. A dry cold front will pass by Sunday, which will dip the temperatures to the low-50s on Monday with a warm-up through Christmas Eve…
