A clerk at a Circle K in The Villages has been arrested in connection with the theft of a woman’s Calvin Klein purse.
The woman mistakenly left behind her purse on Dec. 11 at the Circle K at 3 LaGrande Blvd. on the Historic Side of The Villages, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. After she realized her mistake, she called the Circle K where the female manager assured the woman the purse would be kept in a safe place and would be returned to her when she came back to the convenience store.
When the woman returned to the Circle K, the purse could not be found…
