ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Mayor Malik Evans held a press conference to remind residents about important winter weather practices in the City of Rochester.
Rochester is one of only three U.S. cities that clear residential sidewalks after significant snowfall. When 4 inches or more accumulates, the city deploys sidewalk plows to clear 800 miles of sidewalks that are at least five feet wide.
