SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — Caregivers working at the Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center hit the picket line Thursday afternoon to demand fair contracts. Over 100 employees, represented by 1199SEIU, United Healthcare Workers East, have been allegedly working without contracts since Sept. 30.
They picketed for higher wages, childcare assistance, and compensation for working short-staffed.
