WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A Leland woman says doctors at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center missed cancer aggressively spreading through her body, then sent her home to die after finally diagnosing the disease.
Doctors are now giving her just months to live.
Brenda Booze has stage 4 cancer that doctors believe started in her lungs and spread to her brain and spine.
