From barriers to belonging: First-of-a-kind accessible museum takes shape

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Next year, the American Printing House for the Blind will open a new museum highlighting inclusion, education and the contributions of blind Americans.

“I’ve been a guide dog user since 2014,” said Danielle Burton, communications accessibility editor. “For me, being deafblind, it lets me actually focus on what I need to hear.”
