Residents of the South Shore neighborhood and surrounding areas have been put on high alert following an armed robbery that occurred earlier last month. According to a community alert issued by the Chicago Police Department, detectives from the Robbery Task Force are currently seeking an individual of interest connected to the November 4th incident. The robbery took place on the 1600 block of E. 69th St. within the boundaries of the 3rd (Grand Crossing) District, at approximately 4:50 p.m.
The Chicago Police Department has described the suspect as dressed in a grey jacket, red hoodie, and dark pants at the time of the armed robbery.
