Baton Rouge man accused of threatening student on school bus

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge man is facing multiple charges after police said he went onto a school bus and threatened a student Wednesday afternoon.

Marcus Hayes, 37, was charged with eight counts of terrorizing and one count each of entry on or remaining in places/land after forbidden, obstruction or interference with members of staff, faculty, or students of educational institutions; trespass, damage to property, and simple assault.

According to the affidavit, Hayes entered the Community School for Apprenticeship Learning school bus around 3:05 p.m. Dec. 17 and threatened to hurt a student if he touched his daughter again…
