Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed by Bernalillo County deputies. Officials say it happened during an ongoing auto theft operation tied to Operation Triple Beam. Deputies stopped a motorcyclist who ran away from deputies near Virginia Street NE. The search led them to the 300 block of Wisconsin Street, where the shooting occurred and the man was killed. The Sheriff’s Office hasn’t said how many deputies were involved.
