SPOKANE, Wash. – Aaron Daniel Aung and his father, Jaimes Tin Aung, have been found guilty of conspiracy to commit international parental kidnapping and international parental kidnapping, according to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
The charges stem from Aaron Aung failing to return his child to their mother after a scheduled custody exchange on June 3, 2024. Instead, Aaron Aung, along with his fiancé Nadia Cole, took the child to Mexico, violating a court-ordered custody agreement.
Aaron and the child were eventually located by Mexican officials near the United States-Mexico border on July 7, 2024, and were subsequently returned to U.S. authorities…
