Durant’s Steakhouse has been revived by the Mastro family and has finally reopened.
The Mastro family, longtime patrons of Durant’s for more than 30 years, preserved the restaurant’s iconic nature while implementing slight updates to enhance the customer experience.
Owner Jeff Mastro expressed excitement about the opportunity, marking it as a dream come true for him and his family. “It was so exciting.” He said the Durant family specifically chose them to take over, emphasizing, “That was the most important thing” to maintain the establishment’s legacy.
Preservation of the restaurant’s history is a top priority for the management team. Oliver Badgio, Chief Brand Officer at Durant’s, noted, “There was a project that Mike and Jeff Mastro were so adamant about preserving the history and ensuring the future at the same time.”…
