Grand Chanukah Celebration at Riverfront Park to feature giant menorah, musical performance

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Chabad of Spokane is hosting a public Grand Chanukah Celebration Thursday night, featuring a car menorah parade, a speech from Mayor Lisa Brown, a musical performance and other festivities.

The Chabad said the celebration will start at 4:15 p.m. at the Ferris High School Parking Lot, where menorahs will be placed on cars and driven towards downtown Spokane.

At 5 p.m. the giant menorah lighting will take place at Riverfront Park, where Mayor Lisa Brown will light the menorah…
