Seattle’s fleet of Lime shared bikes and e-scooters got a boost this year when the company introduced a new hybrid vehicle dubbed the LimeGlider. The system saw a 61 percent jump in rides from 2024, with riders taking 9.7 million trips this year.
According to an article in GeekWire by Kurt Schlosser, “The Seattle Department of Transportation said this fall that it is adding more than 200 new bike and scooter “corrals” downtown and in other parts of the city to encourage proper parking and alleviate sidewalk clutter.”…
