HONOLULU (KHON) — The Honolulu Police Department is requesting the public’s help while investigating two serious hit-and-run accidents that occurred within two days this week on Oahu.
The first collision took place the morning of Dec. 16 around 11 a.m., when a man was hit by a driver turning left onto University Avenue from Coyne Street.

Police said the 43-year-old pedestrian was walking in a marked crosswalk with an illuminated walk signal.
