In a coordinated effort to combat drug distribution in Dorchester, Boston police have arrested two men, aged 44 and 64, after discovering drugs and firearms in their respective residences. The investigation, which involved multiple units, culminated in the capture of Dana Jordan and Dana Smart on Tuesday.
The action kicked off with an observation of Jordan leaving his residence at 41 Norton Street, which led to his detainment at a nearby grocery store. A search warrant executed at this location resulted in the confiscation of crack cocaine and oxycodone. Meanwhile, the search at Smart’s residence at 28 Jacob Street unearthed drug paraphernalia and two firearms. According to the official Boston Police Department’s statement, the substances and firearms were found during searches that adhered to standard police procedure, involving clearly announcing police presence prior entry.
