HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – A pair of Harrisonburg residents were sentenced to more than a decade each in federal prison after providing fentanyl-laced pills that killed an 18-year-old in northern Virginia in early 2023.
According to court documents, in January 2023, 18-year-old Cayden Foster, a high school student in Centreville, reached out to 24-year-old Liam Conaway of Harrisonburg, to purchase pills. The two had previously taken some together during Conaway’s academic break from James Madison University.
