One of Clearwater’s newest restaurants is a paradise for cheese and carb lovers. Cheese Wheel Pasta & Pizza opened this summer at 1100 Cleveland St., and the cozy Italian spot has been earning rave reviews ever since.
Freshly made pasta and hand-tossed, stone-fired pizzas are the main draw at Cheese Wheel, and it’s the restaurant’s namesake pasta presentation that’s drawn the most attention. Fresh pasta is tossed inside a giant wheel of Parmigiano-Reggiano, creating a warm, velvety dish finished with the restaurant’s house-made cream sauce. Their advice is solid: “Bring your appetite and your camera.”
