Convicted child molester takes plea deal for escape after allegedly ditching ankle monitor

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A 36-year-old Fort Wayne man has taken a plea agreement for failing to register as a sex offender and escaping after he allegedly ditched his ankle monitor.

Corey Wickline pleaded guilty to two sex crimes in 2020 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by five years on probation per a plea agreement. In that agreement, two child molesting charges were dismissed.
