Winston-Salem man accused of statutory rape

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A Winston-Salem man is facing several child sex crime charges after an Invictus Task Force investigation.

In July, the ITF began an investigation into a reported sex offense and identified Caiden Isaiah Morrison, 20, of Winston-Salem, as the suspect.

On Thursday, the ITF conducted a search warrant and took Morrison into custody. He is being charged with two counts of statutory rape of a person who is 15 years of age or younger and one count of statutory sexual offense with a child by an adult.

Morrison is being held in the Forsyth County Detention Center without bond and his first appearance is scheduled for Friday…
