U.S. State Warned About Snow Shower With 40 MPH Wind Friday

Some people will have to spend their Fridays shoveling snow, per the latest update from the National Weather Service.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Washington would receive 34 inches of snow in a three-day span. That’s because there was a major winter storm that worked its way through the Northwest, Rockies and Northern Plains.

“Rounds of heavy snow in the higher terrain of the Cascades and Northern Rockies are expected through Wednesday,” the National Weather Service reported on Tuesday. “Snow levels fall to as low as 3,000 ft Thursday morning as the next round of heavy snow arrives. Snow levels will steadily climb to above 6,000 ft by Friday morning. As much as 1-3 feet of snow is forecast from the Cascades to the Northern Rockies through Friday. Additional power outages and tree damage are possible Thursday & Friday due to the combination of heavy, wet snow causing added strain on trees and power lines.”…
