CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Canyon Police Department reports that the Hunsley Bridge has been closed after a wreck involving a semi-truck hauling an excavator.
Officials announced that the Texas Department of Transportation closed the road following the incident, which left debris on the roadway, raising safety concerns.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced it would increase enforcement for Christmas and New Year’s.
CPD said the right northbound lane of US-87 is closed from the US-60 exit to the West Country Club Road exit.
