MADISON, Wis. — The Salvation Army of Dane County said Friday that two people seen inside West Towne Mall claiming to be taking donations for the organization are imposters.
The people were reportedly seen walking with an open red kettle and bell and requesting donations. The Salvation Army said the two people are not affiliated with their organization, and funds collected will not benefit the local Salvation Army’s programs and services.
