Boston Police Department’s District B-2 detectives are calling on the community to aid in identifying three men linked to a robbery at a Dudley Street liquor store in Roxbury, as stated on the department’s website. The incident, which occurred around the close of business hours on Wednesday, took a turn when two store employees were assaulted as they tried to prevent the theft.

Details from the police report show that the suspects engaged in a brazen act, one posing in line with stolen goods, and walking out, as another waited by the exit; during the confrontation, one worker was struck with a bottle and another received a blow to the face, both of them declined medical treatment after the attack. The first individual already stationed near the doorway is described as a Black male, donned in a green jacket, “Boston” branded pants and matching sneakers. The second, the man seen removing bottles of liquor, was in a fur-accented gray jacket and eye-catching metallic shoes, while the third accomplice sported a distinctive black and gray jacket with notable sleeve stripes.

Investigators from District B-2 haven’t taken this robbery lightly, dedicating resources to pore over the events as they unfolded. They are asking anyone with insight into this crime or the individuals involved to come forward, and those who prefer to stay anonymous can still contribute through various secure channels outlined by the police department…
