A Cleveland court has scheduled a June trial date for state charges against former Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder alleging misuse of campaign funds and ethics violations.
The trial in the House Bill 6-related case, in which Householder faces 10 felony charges, is set for June 8, according to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court records.
Cuyahoga County County Common Pleas Judge Kevin J. Kelley, who is overseeing the case, scheduled the trial immediately after meeting with the prosecution and defense Dec. 18 to discuss Householder’s motion to dismiss the proceedings…
