CINCINNATI (WXIX) – New Prospect Baptist Church held a holiday-themed event called Christmas at the Summit Friday evening that aims to bring some positivity following a string of violence in the neighborhood.
Pastor Damon Lynch III hopes the event helps end the cycle of shootings near his church over the past three years.
“Our goal is to spread the love of Christmas, especially to those who live on Summit Road as well as the Roselawn Community,” Lynch said. “Summit Road, since 2022, has had ten shootings and five of them being fatal.”…
