Detroit man sentenced for leading drug trafficking organization in Monongalia County

MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV) – A Detroit man was sentenced to spend years in federal prison for leading a drug trafficking organization in Monongalia County.

Michael Robinson-Brown, 27, will spend 12 years and six months behind bars for his leadership role in the conspiracy, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Robinson-Brown was transporting large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl from Detroit to Monongalia County and using local residents to distribute the drugs, officials said…
