HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Harrisburg school was placed on lockdown Thursday morning after a student allegedly threatened to bring a weapon to campus, officials said.
The lockdown at Marshall Math Science Academy began around 8:25 a.m. after the threat was reported on a school bus, according to the Harrisburg School District. The principal followed district safety protocols, and Harrisburg police responded to the scene.
