Global pharmaceutical manufacturer Eli Lilly and Company plans to establish operations in Huntsville, Alabama. The $6 billion project is expected to create 450 jobs.
The investment will include the construction of a more than 1-million-square-foot manufacturing facility, located on a 260-acre site at the northeast corner of I-565 and Greenbrier Parkway, which will produce small molecule synthetic and peptide medicines. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2032.
