State grant will give Kalamazoo firefighters new gear

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A state grant of $500,000 is expected to ensure that Kalamazoo fire crews have the gear they need to fight fires and stay healthy.

The grant was presented by state Rep. Julie Rogers, D-Kalamazoo and State Sen. Sean McCann, D-Kalamazoo, this morning.
