YORK, Pa. — High winds are causing damage Friday across South Central Pennsylvania, including trees falling on roads and buildings.
A Weather Impact Alert is in effect until 10 p.m. Friday as a result of the gusty conditions. Power outages also hit parts of Lancaster and York.
In Seven Valleys, a tree fell onto a home on Main Street, causing major structural damage to the roof and a wall. It was not immediately clear whether anyone was inside or injured as a result of the incident.
Police were on scene at S. Ogontz Street and Mt. Rose Avenue in Hanover where part of a tree fell onto the road.
