Jackson Taylor-Shorter, a senior at Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs, recently received a $5,000 scholarship from the 2025 HBCU Scholarship Program presented by Cobb-based Delta Community Credit Union and V-103.
The annual program supports students attending or planning to attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Taylor-Shorter has been accepted to Tuskegee University and Florida A&M University. However, he hopes to be admitted to his dream school, North Carolina A&T State University, where he plans to major in Animal Science and pursue a career as a veterinarian…
