Louisville officials reveal how many 911 calls were made on day of UPS plane crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It’s been more than a month since the tragic UPS plane crash that killed 14 people and injured several others in Louisville.

Businesses were closed in the immediate aftermath, but city officials said businesses can now access the site from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. However, roadblocks are still up and employees working overnight must show identification to gain access.

Louisville Metro 911 received 1,422 calls during the first three hours after the plane crash; that includes every call whether it had to do with the plane crash, a non-emergency or a different emergency…
