Mobile city leaders cut the ribbon on Thursday on a multi-million-dollar streetscape project designed to improve safety, walkability, and drainage across the corridor. The upgrades span roughly one mile from Wilson Avenue to Prichard Avenue.
The project includes new sidewalks, curbs and gutters, a pedestrian bridge, and a new drainage system to help reduce flooding and keep the newly resurfaced road in good condition.
