The Oakland Unified School District has witnessed the departures of two key senior officials amid a budget shortfall, KQED reports.
The district’s top financial officer, Lisa Grant-Dawson, abruptly resigned Dec. 12, and Chief of Staff Dan Bellino was released by interim Superintendent Denise Saddler the same day without warning or cause, according to KQED.
